Per Deadman Off-Road’s own published anchor testing, holding capacity in soft sand climbs steeply with digging depth: roughly 2,500 lb at 24 inches, past 6,000 lb at 36 inches, in the same soil. A separate test in genuine dune sand at Pismo Beach reached 8,050 lb. A commercial ground anchor shortens that setup.
